For the third year in a row, Dave Mudrick and Tom Haney of the Firm have been honored by Ingram's, Kansas City's Business Magazine. Ingram's notified Dave and Tom that they are among the 2012 winners of The Best Lawyers in America who practice in the greater Kansas City region. The list of those "Best Lawyers" will be included in the October, 2011 edition of Ingram's.

John Hutton, Dave Mudrick and Tom Haney have been honored by being selected for the 2012 edition of "The Best Lawyers in America." Hutton, a partner in the Firm, was selected in the areas of Real Estate Law, Construction Law, and Commercial Litigation. Mudrick, also a partner in the Firm, was named in the areas of Employment Law-Management, Labor Law-Management, and Litigation-Labor and Employment. Haney, who is Of Counsel in the Firm, was named in the area of Criminal Law-White Collar Defense. Selection to Best Lawyers is based on an exhaustive and rigorous peer-review survey comprising confidential evaluations.

Tom Haney will serve as moderator for a National Business Institute Seminar entitled "What Civil Judges Want You to Know" to be held in Topeka. Six District Court Judges will participate in the recognized CLE presentation.

The firm is pleased to announce the addition of Jonathan M. Snyder as an Associate Attorney. Mr. Snyder received his undergraduate degree from the University of Nebraska at Kearney in 2008. He graduated from Washburn University School of Law in 2010. Mr. Snyder practices in the areas of civil litigation, corporate and business law, real estate and contract law, landlord and tenant law, employment law, and personal injury.

Dave Mudrick and Tom Haney of the Firm have been notified of their selection for the 2011 edition of Best Lawyers in America. Dave was selected in the area of Labor and Employment Law, while Tom was selected in the area of Criminal Law-White Collar Defense.

Ingram's, Kansas City's Business Magazine, selected two of the Firm's attorneys as among the "Best Lawyers in Kansas City 2010." It selected Tom Haney in the area of Criminal Defense: White Collar. Tom was one of only four Topeka Attorneys so honored. Also, Ingram's selected Dave Mudrick for "Best Lawyers in Kansas City 2010" in the Labor and Employment Law area, and Dave was one of only five Topeka attorneys so honored.

Tom Haney was appointed by Attorney General Six to serve on the Attorney General's Senior Consumer Protection Advisory Council, which is chaired by former Attorney General Stephan. The Council will study ways to improve consumer protection and protection against fraud and abuse of seniors. Tom attended the Council's first meeting on January 25, 2010.
